His ability to conjure catchy headlines and his animated writing style helped earn him the first-ever "Best Feature-style News Release" award from PR Newswire. His press releases are used by wire service editors and classroom instructors for training publicists how to write copy that gets noticed and used by both print and electronic media. "I love to thoroughly interview each client and understand not only what he or she does, but what he or she does better or more effectivley than anyone else in that industry or industry niche," Steve says.
	Vicki Southard Vicki began her career as a publicist in the Silicon Valley high-tech industry, and honed her publicity skills in the Big Apple during the 80's before co-founding The PR Group in 1993. With 30 years of publicity experience, she says one of her greatest pleasures is helping clients build and expand their businesses with effective media campaigns. She's flown airplanes, climbed mountains, and traveled around the world. With business and kids, she's a lady who multi-tasks to the max. Vicki's always "on the job" so if she's not in the office she's probably still brainstorming ways to help build your empire!
	Shirly Turney Shirly Turney joined The PR Group in 1998 booking radio and television interviews and is our New Business Manager and responsible for getting our new clients onboard.  Having worked with our very successful clients for years, please contact Shirly for more information on what The PR Group can do for you. Shirly moved to Florida from California where she had worked as Director of Publishing International for Jazz icon, Chick Corea.  There, she handled and promoted Chick's music catalogue to a fivefold earnings increase.  Shirly is a graduate of The Vancouver School of Art, a professional artist and recorded songwriter.   Shirly is of Cree Indian-French/Scottish Fur Trapper heritage born at the edge of a river in Northern Canada.  She is also Susie's mom.  If she is not in the office she may be kayaking or trying out a client's invention or at an art show expounding the virtues of "Semi-Abstract Realism"!
	Kelly Fay Kelly joined The PR Group in July of 2004.   Went to the college of publicity at The PR Group where she has learned from the ground up and is one of the BEST publicists EVER.  You can trust your PR campaign if it’s in the hands of Kelly.  A natural promoter and a native Floridian, Kelly is a Civil War and WWII buff.  Trivia anyone?   Kelly is a big community service volunteer and is known for her quick wit, happy disposition and enthusiasm to help.    If she isn’t at the office, she’s at a Dave Matthews concert or at a Dave Matthews concert!
	Catherine Spilos Catherine joined The PR Group in 2006.  A South Florida native, she came to the area to attend the University of Tampa. While in school, she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and explored most of Western Europe.  Catherine has produced a film documentary and has previously worked with a local magazine.  She understands what our clients' needs are and is quick to obtain the right publicity in the top markets.  If she is not in the office, she’s likely traveling.  If you like souvenirs, send her your address with a money order and a return postmarked envelope.
	Deborah Lower Deborah is our very busy bookkeeper and multi-tasker.  She has an 18 year background of finance, technical support/training and legal work and hails from Los Angeles via Salt Lake City & Seattle.  If she weren't here, she'd be living in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho.  Riding horseback, hiking, and camping out by the Salmon River.
PHOTO COMING SOON	Christina Benardo Christina is the PR Group’s newest addition and intern.  She completes her final quarter at International Academy of Design in Tampa, graduating with a degree in Marketing and Fashion. She also works on the weekends as a modeling and acting instructor as well as a fashion show coordinator.  She will learn about publicity and make sure all of us at The PR Group are working hard for our clients. If she is not in the office or school, she is shopping in Hyde Park. If you hear a yipping noise coming from her bag she’s got her Yorkie, Sissy, with her.
